Global Mosaic Asia, recently established in 2011, has already developed a presence in Asia over the past ten years. Personnel affiliated with Global Mosaic have offered training in counseling skills, stress management, leadership development, crisis response, personality assessment, and organizational management.
Participants in our training have come from schools, community groups, NGO’s , churches, local and national government, hospitals, universities, and business.
Trainers and instructors have also contributed to our goal of being a “Global Mosaic.” This well-qualified and diverse international group of passionate instructors has been recruited from Great Britain, the United States, Canada, Singapore, and Malaysia.
While we are based in Kuala Lumpur, we especially take pride in our desire and willingness to travel throughout Asia. We want to make this quality information and assistance available to remote areas without previous exposure to our field of expertise and knowledge base. Because of this commitment to be truly global we have journeyed to an “international mosaic” of localities. We have been to a northern village of India with participants coming from Nepal, Bhutan, and India. Several times we have journeyed to Cambodia to offer training to those working in the refugee camps and in the children homes. We have also offered support to workers at a rehabilitation center for those brought out of the sex-trade industry. We have an ongoing relationship with hospital staffs and community groups in various areas of India. Our training has also been presented in East Malaysia and Brunei on Borneo. Throughout the year we have a presence in Malaysia and have past and ongoing contacts and offerings in Melaka, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur.
The majority of our offerings has been in face-to-face venues with both small and large groups. We have drawn interest from a wide range of organizations. A secondary and important benefit has been introduction of these various groups to each other who are now networking to achieve shared goals more effectively.
